I’m Vesta — a Registered Dietitian since 1982, based in New Orleans, Louisiana, and deeply passionate about helping people feel supported, informed, and empowered in their health journey.
For more than four decades, I’ve worked across a wide range of nutrition settings, with a strong focus on bariatrics and weight management since 2003.
Many clients come to me feeling discouraged, ashamed, or confused — especially if they’ve tried to lose weight before or experienced weight regain after bariatric surgery. Others are frustrated because they’ve been told what to do, but never truly taught how or why.
I believe nutrition care should be:
Judgment-free
Grounded in science
Adaptable to real life
Obesity is not a personal failure — it’s a disease that deserves individualized, evidence-based care, just like high blood pressure or diabetes. My role is to help you understand your body, not fear it.
A conversation to explore your goals and determine whether this program is a good fit.
We look at nutrition patterns, stress, sleep, hormones, CGM data (if used), labs, culture, lifestyle, and history.
Real-time glucose insights give direction. We’re not guessing — we’re interpreting.
Email/text check-ins and personalized action steps ensure you’re supported, not overwhelmed.
We build skills, not rules. Because sustainable change only happens in real life, not in perfect circumstances.
Clients feel heard, respected, and safe sharing their story — without guilt, pressure, or perfection expectations.
No generic plans or confusing data. Clients learn what their numbers mean and how to use that insight in everyday life.
Support that fits real schedules, real food, and real challenges — with steady encouragement every step of the way.
"Vesta really helped me in my weight loss journey. Mostly because she listened to me. When I told her about my insatiable appetite/compulsive eating. She didn’t dismiss my thoughts or feelings. As a matter of fact, she validated them – she told me the food industry is designed to make a person want to come back again and again."
